In 2017, the Airline’s Technical Purchasing and Procurement Committee implemented a project to evaluate suppliers, this project was led by ALTA Airline Members and is supervised by ALTA’s Technical Maintenance & Procurement Committee.
The Object for this evaluation is to create awareness of the needs and quality standards required by the airlines, and to educate and include supplier of said needs with the common goal of being more efficient and complying with the processes established by the quality system of the airlines. The results of this yearly evaluation are announced every year at the CCMA & MRO conference.
